"KASHTATA S CHESHMATA" is located on a quiet and silent cobbled street in the old town of Veliko Tarnovo, in the heart of the cultural and historical architectural ensemble near SAMOVODSKATA CHARSHIYA.

We have 6 apartments and each of them can accommodate up to 4 people. We also have 2 studios, for up to 2 people.

The apartments are cleaned and sanitized after each guest leaves, plus additional cleaning done for long-staying guests

Smoking in the building is not allowed. Terraces and the yard of the building are places where smoking is permitted.

The show operates all year round, regardless of the weather and can be watched for free on public holidays. On all other occasions, private showings may be booked for a fee, by request (on these occasions the show can be watched from the viewing hall located behind "Rozhdestvo Bogorodichno" Cathedral).

Tsarevgrad Tarnov Multimedia visitor centre is located near the Tsarevets hill. Notable sculptures and paintings present historical figures and events from the period of the Second Bulgarian Kingdom.

“Tsarevgrad Tarnov” Multimedia Visitor Center

Tsarevets is a medieval stronghold located on a hill with the same name in Veliko Tarnovo in northern Bulgaria. Tsarevets is 206 metres (676 ft) above sea level. It served as the Second Bulgarian Empire's primary fortress and strongest bulwark between 1185 and 1393, housing the royal and the patriarchal palaces, and it is also a popular tourist attraction.

Architecture and Museum Reserve "Tsarevets"

The Archaeological museum which housed the exposition “Veliko Tarnovo – the capital of Bulgaria XII – XIV c.” is situated westward to the square of “Saedinenie”. The thousand year old history and culture of the region of Tarnovo is traced out there.

The Revival and Constituent Assembly Museum is located in the northern part of Union Square in the town of Veliko Tarnovo. The exposition is located in the building of the old Turkish konak. This architectural monument was built in 1872 by the great master builder of the Bulgarian Revival period, Kolyu Ficheto.

4 km from Veliko Tarnovo, on a high plateau overlooking the hills Tsarevets and Trapezitsa, is the ancient village of Arbanassi. The most impressive heritage from the past of Arbanassi are the preserved 144 houses, 5 churches and 2 monasteries with rich interior decoration, carvings and wall paintings, created in the 16th-17th century.

Nicopolis ad Istrum was a Roman and an Early Byzantine town. It was founded by the Roman emperor Marcus Ulpius Traianus to honor his victories over the Dacians tribes in 101 and 106. The ruins are located at the village of Nikyup, 20 km north-west of Veliko Tarnovo.
